Don’t build from scratch — Grafana for your data visualisation application

Grafana scenes is a new feature that enables building custom visualisations on top of Grafana. It allows us to reuse a lot of capabilities given to us by Grafana such as data sources, dashboards, single sign on. Using Grafana scenes teams can decrease the time to validate a data application idea. In this talk, I’ll share my journey with Grafana—from the challenges we faced embedding dashboards using iframes, to how Grafana Scenes enabled us to build fully integrated, customisable applications. I’ll wrap up with a live demo of two applications we developed, along with Grafana dashboards monitoring them in action.
